This is the smallest landscape that I’ve completed in pastel (5.5 X8.5), but the size didn’t stop it from being voted First Place in Lakewood Artist Guild’s September meeting last night. Although I have received ribbons from paintings that I entered in our Spring and Fall shows with professional judges, there was something really great getting the votes from my fellow guild members!

The detail in this delightfull scene is enhanced by the repeat of rosy color that sweeps your eye from left to right! Great job.
