Well, after several sessions contemplating colors, shapes, etc.,…..everything I go through before I decide if I’m done or not….I think I am.

The title adds to the feeling of the painting. It is SPLENDID!!
This is just beautiful. I can smell the salt water and feel the breeze. I’m partial to these kinds of paintings. I have 3 beach scenes in my livingroom. I love looking at them and try to bring back the special feelings I get when at the ocean. Thanks sister for this great painting.
I love it. It’s so nice to look at, especially here in MV with all the fog and no summer… It makes you want to jump right into it and run down to the water. I love how you captured the breeze. And I love the flow, with the path to the water.
Oh, it’s splendid! I told you that I love eucalyptus trees. The whole atmosphere points to fresh breezes and makes me want to be RIGHT THERE! The surf is perfect as well. It’s so hard to do a good surf, but you’ve caught it here.

This was a REALLLLLLLY effective use of background. By putting the clouds behind the trunks of the trees, you get a surprisingly vivid sense of depth and sense movement.
Brilliant!
Thank you all so much. It’s really wonderful to get such positive feedback!
